An AQUAMON project video was prepared to be presented at the annual FCT promoted event “Encontro com a Ciência e a Tecnologia em Portugal”, November 3-4, 2020.
The video shown the work that is being done in the project, namely concerning the deployment of sensors at Baía do Seixal, which was the location defined in the project proposal for a Pilot site to be built and results to be demonstrated. The work includes several experimental campaigns to access the communication quality using a LoRa wireless network, considering that transmissions are done over a water surface. The results provide a clear perspective of trade-offs concerning the location of antennas and the achieved communication quality.
